Brink's CompuSafe® Service Overview

Brink's CompuSafe® Service is a leading closed-loop cash management system. Brink's controls the entire process, so the potential for theft and discrepancies is virtually eliminated.

  • How the Brink's CompuSafe® Service Works:

    Store employees insert currency directly into one of the CompuSafe smart safes, which reads and digitally verifies $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 notes and places them into sealed, locked, secure cassettes. Unfit notes and checks are dropped in a fish-proof slot with an accompanying deposit ticket printed by the CompuSafe® safe.

    A Brink's armored transportation messenger collects the sealed cash containers on a scheduled basis, and is typically in and out of your store in less than five minutes for minimal disruption and fast, reliable service. The Brink's messenger takes the cassettes to one of our secure currency rooms where trained tellers verify the contents, consolidate deposits from all of your locations, and transfer the funds into your bank account. Through our nationwide electronic reporting, you can receive deposit detail at your store or your corporate office.

  • Brink’s Daily Credit:

    Brink’s Daily Credit is built into each Brink’s CompuSafe 3000 and 4000. Brink’s Daily Credit changes the armored transportation rules, giving you daily credit for your cash receipts – without daily pick-up. Each day, your cash deposit information is submitted to us electronically and, through arrangements with participating banks, the total amount is credited to your account long before the cash actually reaches the bank.
